Visiting the Gold Coast for the first time or wondering what to do? Here are few suggestions we’ve compiled to help make your holiday a memorable one.

Gold Coast Beaches

A holiday on the Gold Coast is not complete without spending some time at one of its picture-perfect beaches. Broadbeach and Kurrawa beaches,  are only minutes from Capricornia. Why not begin your day with an early morning swim or brisk walk as the sun rises over the water? Or you could spend the day soaking up the sunshine as you watch the wave’s crash to the shore. Both beaches are well patrolled by the Broadbeach Beach and Kurrawa Surf Lifesaving Clubs. These Aussie surf lifesavers are on patrol to ensure that you stay safe during your time at the beach. Remember to only swim between the red and yellow flags in the patrolled section of the beach and only when the life guards are on duty.

Pacific Fair Shopping Centre

If you are after some retail therapy, need some fabulous beach wear or want to pick up the perfect holiday souvenir then Pacific Fair shopping Centre is for you. You’ll find everything from luxury brands including Tiffany, Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton through to high-end chain stores such as Zara, H&M and Sephora, and of course leading Australian retailers. With 350+ stores, an Events Cinema complex and several dining areas that include restaurants and food courts, you could be forgiven for losing yourself for the day in what is the Gold Coast’s premier shopping and dining destination. Pacific Fair is open seven days a week and just a short walk from Capricornia Apartments.
